Sassy Skein Key West Karibbean - Worsted Weight

Color A: 222 Blue Lagoon (2 Skeins)

Color B: 232 Key Lime (1 Skein)

Color C: 208 Island Waters (1 Skein)

Size 7 x 17” circular needle

1 extra size 7 needle (for the 3 needle bind off)

Tapestry needle

Gauge:

22 Stitches and 28 Rows = 4” 

To save time, check your gauge!

With Color A, cast on 115 stitches. Place stitch marker and join work. You will be working in the round. Work as follows:

Round 1: In Color A, *K2, P1 repeat from * entire round

Round 2: *In Color B, K2, Change to Color A P1 repeat from * entire round.

Round 3: Repeat Round 1.

Round 4: *In Color C, K2, Change to Color A P1 repeat form * entire round.

Work Rounds1-4 until the hat measures 9”. Begin Crown shaping: This crown is different from most hats, there will be no shaping only a 3 needle bind off.

To finish, weave in any yarn tails to the wrong side of Hat, make sure to hide the weavings as much as possible, so the hat can be reversible. Clip strands close.
